In October 2020, I released a short film on housing & land rights in Hawaiʻi.
The short film "Rooted to Our Land - Part I: Perspectives on Native Hawaiian Land & Housing Rights" features interviews with scholars, housing experts, and community activists in Hawaiʻi. The film was produced by Hawaiʻi Appleseed.
In February 2020, I published my debut novella about gender, class & mobility.
The novella, Perseverance Flooded the Streets, follows Lovelyn, a midwestern college student, as she travels through colorful urban India, attempting to understand, and overcome, the complex social and cultural norms that continue to hold women back.
